I am totally confused. Their goal is to create soverign island goverments so that people can choose to live wherever they want, effectively having choice of goverment.

Is this totally insane or what? Shit I can hike to Canada or Mexico right now. You put my ass on some sort of off shore floating structure, that is soverign... I call that a recipe for abuse and sweatshops. You don't like it here, leave anytime you want... They envision it as perfect for some sort of budding tech industry.

I tell you what it's perfect for. It's perfect for declaring soverignity and doing WHATEVER THE FUCK YOU WANT!

A futuristic city, amazingly enough arranged like a freaking prison....

They put cameras up in my town several years ago "to monitor traffic patterns only" A very clear assurance that no law enforcement would result. Promises were made!

Now a company is coming in to "manage" these cameras and deal with our chronic problem of people running red lights... Everyone is upset, but hey the cameras are already there.... When the hell will people learn????? (never)

Seasteading is great, if it's YOUR boat. Sigh... Ahh, sorry for the rant, but I needed that :)
