Subject: John Hamilton, Chief Inspector of Sheep, South Australia 1850-1855

John Hamilton born b ca 1810 Strathaven, Lanarkshire, Scotland, died 1855 Adelaide. His wife, Marion Walker, died 1890. Both buried in West Terrace Cemetery. In 1861 Marion Walker Hamilton, their daughter, married Charles Downer. In the 1920s, one Downer daughter married Maurice Lathlean and had 2 sons; another married Brynmor Jones and had a son and a daughter. Would like to contact any descendant(s) who could confirm the names of John Hamilton's parents.
