Dear Fran,
I have just seen your message, and am delighted that you are the gt gt granddaughter of Frances and James Burfitt. As you know Frances was my Gt Gt Aunt. UI would be very happy to send you details of her parenta and Grandparents, and the very comprehensive will of her Uncle Rev Dr James Ingram, who was an Anglo- Saxon scholar and antiquarian, and President of Trinity College Oxford. He died in 1850. He mentions Frances in his will. and her sister Mary Rebby ( nee Carpenter ) who was also in Australia at that time.
