I'm sorry I didn't read your post sooner but my mum, Maxine tells me you have been in contact with her. What a wonderful surprise! I had always intended to do more research on both the Bowron and Mustoe family trees but hadn't got back to it yet since the research I did prior to Nana May's 100th. (Hence why I hadn't picked up your post sooner).

As you now know my grandfather Gilbert Jesse Mustoe is indeed the brother of your Grandmother Beatrice Meek (nee Mustoe).

He was born 19th September 1896 in Awre, Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire to parents Arthur and Harriet Mustoe (nee Darke).

He married my grandmother May Sylvia Bella Bowron in Brookton July 3rd 1926.

They had 5 children:
1) Roy: m. Helen, Jan 1956 [divorced] - children Colin & Roslyn),
2) Glenice: m. Corrie Mildwaters - children Cheryl & Jeffrey,
3) Bert: m. Colleen [dec] - child Eric; m. Jess,
4) Joan [dec]: m. Bob Fraser - children Wendy & John
5) Maxine Robin: m. Gordon Murray [divorced]- child Kym Yvette; m. Peter Kenneth Robertson - children Benjamin Thomas and Kate Gwenneth.

I look forward to learning more about the Mustoe side of the family tree!
