Just noticed your message. I'm not linked in any way - just trying to help.
'Nullawil' is not in WA - it's in Victoria. (near Swan Hill). I noticed 'John August Martinsen' enlisted in Melbourne VIC. (1914)

The VICTORIA STATE LIBRARY has an 'Ask a Librarian' service (query form on-line) -they will check their records -including electoral rolls for you. The Victoria BMD's are available on-line -for a small fee. (Hopefully the librarian will have them too).
