Hello Jeanine,
I have just been talking to my uncle by marriage in the US. He met my aunt Valda Sturtridge in Townsville when she was a member of WNEL. She was an ordinance officer and her work was associated with the bomb dump - where they met. He was wondering if I could find any information on WNEL.
I too have "googled" WNEL but can find little information. Have you or anyone else had any luck with your/their search?
