My family has a Jennie S. Swingler, born about 1863 in Missouri, USA. She married a man named Albert E McLean on 16 Oct 1881. Albert died 17 Sept 1889, but not before having a daughter Jessie born in 1883. About 1896 Jennie, Jessie, her parents (Charles Swingler and Mary E. Carver), and younger brother (Fredrick Swingler) moved to Leicester, England. All four of them are present in the 1901 census there. I don't know what happened to Jennie and Jessie after that, but might be your Jenny Swingler McLean.
