I have done some research for this part of the family. Frank's father (August Alfred) was born in 1849 in klemzig, South Australia. His grandfather (Johann Joachim Carl)was of French extraction and was from Mecklenburg Schwerin, Germany and had emigrated to Australia via New Zealand in 1844-45. Frank's wife was Ethel Emma Rebecca Beckham. They had two children born in Australia. Amelia Ethel Annie Bennier b.1906 and Albert Henry Bennier B.1908. I do not know of the five children you mentioned in your query. I have a photograph of Frank in army uniform. I would appreciate any further information you may have on this family. What was the crime of Frank that he was hung in 1918? How did his wife die?
