I am so sorry that I upset all those good people who choose to live in East Cowes one of whom is my sister - I mean that she lives in East Cowes not that she was upset by what I said. Sister mine is used to my outbreaks and feels similar.

Funny thing was after being home a couple of nights said sister rang me to say that she had broken a leg on the way out of Dixons in Newport (she was buying batteries) and could I come and rescue her from A & E where she was likely to remain forever the way things were going. So I did.

Six bickering weeks of it and I come home to the news that some jerk in a dredger has taken out the middle of Hythe pier. Where to they, err, dig up these jonnies?
