 Well, it seems that some of my friends on Usenet are after my blood - alt.local.isleofwight to be precise. I must say that I admire their emotive defense of East Cowes!

I expect my dear sister posted this URL on the newsgroup- I know she's peed off with me. I think it's her - not sure that anyone else would call themselves EastCowesMaiden.

This afternoon I was looking out over the Green from the vantage point of my cosy sitting room in my flat ( I don't care what they say about the Council, I like my little flat and it is MY castle!) (and, I don't care what some people say - I love the new external colour scheme! The blue and grey that merge with the sky but don't infact due to the straight edges of the building. I think that the contrast between the cloud shapes and those edges is very exciting!)

I expect I am being very opinionated for an old lady living on a pension in a council flat but I do watch the Open University!
