Finally, someone agrees with me. I also think Minnoy should be #1 as well. I cannot believe any scout can rank any player in "potential." Let's judge them ny what they do on the court. Yes, Minnoy is only about 6'3", but he's already built like a man. Many college and pro players are in the weight room right now to approach being as strong as he is now, and he's only begun to weight train. I guess what everyone else finally found out this summer - he REALLY IS A GUARD! Only he's bigger and stronger than most guards even at the next level. If Nate Minnoy was say 6'5" or bigger, there would be no discussion whose #1. He weighs about 235 lbs with very little body fat. AND, he's got two years of High School left. Will he get stronger? Sure. Will his outside play improve? Yeah. Could he get taller? Maybe. Will he be the best player in Illinois? He already is in his class and I would rank him in the top 5 in both the 2004 and 2005 classes combined.

Because Julian Wright is 6'8" (exaggerated), scouts tend to list him for his potential. He will be great IF, he continues to improve his outside shot, IF he gets strong enough to bang with the big boys to finish at the rim.

Hales plays mostly AA comp anyway so you will see him all year against the best teams. Someone please keep this post and read it back at the end of the year. 25pts, 12rebs, 7assts, 3stls, 2blks this year.

Just my honest opinion... Please feel free to discuss.
