"Okay then," Liam whispered, his fingers gently toying with Tex's, discovering the gentle curves and crevices within that soft hand. "I promise you it all..." Liam smiled shyly after his promise bit ended. "Mmm," he sighed, snuggling closer to her, his arms tightening ever so slightly. "I feel so weird... so, different." After a moment of silence, Liam breathed, "I love you, Tex... I really do." Wow, that was the first time Liam had really said it... without an 'i think' or 'i might' interjected somewhere in there. Liam had never been loved before by anyone... well -- not that he knew of. So, this whole being loved and loving back was oh-so-totally new. When Liam looked at himself and how he felt... he sometimes wished he'd have tried it out earlier. In reality, when you looked at it, there was no possible way that he could've fallen in love any earlier, 'since... well, Tex was the only one that could inflict the whole concept upon him and actually make him want to feel how he did... and he'd only met her around two and a half weeks ago! It was crazy... all of it. But, it was crazy-good... so, like, crazy -- but in an amazingly good way. With his fingers mindling with hers, his heart literally on his sleeve, and his eyes never leaving hers to be lonely... Liam felt the first effects of sleepiness begin to try and swallow him. But noooo... he didn't want to sleep! No, he didn't want to close his eyes... not now, and not ever again. He wanted to stay up the rest of the night just watching Tex, he wanted to talk, to ask questions... but mostly, he wanted to keep hoping and wishing that this whole thing was real and would never fade. But no matter what Liam did to keep himself 'way from the clutches of sleep, his eyes began to feel heavy, and his breathing became shallow. With a last ounce of energy, Liam murmured, "Oh God, I'm so tired but I don't want to close my eyes... not now..." And struggling with it, he lifted them to her face, content to leave them there. "I never want to close my eyes again... I don't want to sleep ever again. I just want to be awake and watch you... I want to know and see that you're still here, right by my side, where we left off." One of those dazed-and-confused sleepy smiles flowed easily 'cross Liam's lips as his eyes blinked slowly. He was going to stay up... damnit. "I..." he yawned, unable to finish his sentence for another few moments. "...don't want you to disappear."
