It was raining outside, it was raining outside and here they were, lying all wrapped up in eachother's arms in front of a fire. How much more romantic could you get? Every time a clap of thunder would pronounce itself over the cottage the girl would kind of shiver and snuggle more closely to Li. She'd always been terrified of thunderstorms, of just plain storms altogether. Though she knew they were good for nature and such, she just didn't like them, they made her nervous and made her stomach clench and her eyes to become all frightened. So, because of Li and because of the storm, she was doubly nervous and her stomach was clenched so hard she expected to have a six pack by morning. Her chin is moved to prop her head up for her eyes to find his.. "If you wanted to.. then why didn't you?" The words were quiet and soft, and somewhat overshadowed by the huge clap of thunder overhead. Now that she thought about it, she really didn't like lightning either. It was too dangerous and scary. I'm putting all of this in here so that y'alls know just how fearful Tex was -- she just had a tongue that wagged too often. Her head lowered back to resting on his arm, her brow furrowed as she furiously touched her warm features -- damn it. Her father had never blushed, but her mother knew the demure ways of a lady and had friggin trained herself to blush. Those ways were born into her daughter and let me tell you, Tex didn't appreciate them at all. The flush of the features, the rapidly beating heart, whoever wanted to experience something like that? She was trying to keep the crimson state of her features from Li's notice and she was congradulating herself on her very good job.. But! But what if he had noticed and was just plain not saying anything about it.. trying to be all nice and polite. Oh geez, now this was humiliating. Yet there was no chance in hell she was leaving his arms in order to save face. She loved him, he loved her, there really should be no secrets between the two of them. Yeah right. There always were going to be secrets between the two of them, that just couldn't be helped -- Tex wasn't normal enough to speak her mind every two seconds and she sure as hell wasn't going to give the details of her past to anyone, it'd scare them away. She took a deep breath and finally looked back up to him, her tone still soft and sweet, "Hey Li.. What're you thinkin 'bout?" There, since Tex just plain didn't seem to be tired right now, she figured she'd get an insight into this boi's mind. If he suddenly got all tired again she'd oblige him and count sheep until she got woozily tired. (Like, when I count sheep, I count them like they're running circles around me, one at a time, so it always gets me dizzy enough to pass out). She let out a soft breath, so comfortable and content here with their bodies touching and such that even her mind wasn't being as screwy as it normally would. For the umpteenth time this night, she murmured those three words. "I love you.." She figured he really needed to know that.
