cadee nodded to salem. she trusted him, and respected him as well. she shrugged. "theres really not that much to get from my place." she said, a smile lingering in her eyes. yet a smile never appeared on cadees lips, and he probably noticed that unless you looked deep into her eyes, you wouldnt find a glint of happiness. because there barely was any. but what little she had, or would ever have, was held in her eyes. not in her expression. cadee slowly moved away from salem, and down to the waters edge. she bent down to touch the water. cadee hadnt touched beach water in years it seemed. she'd only touched minimum bath water. less water, less bill. her motto atleast. cadee extended her index finger to the water and touched it ever so softly, leaving a small ringlet in the liquid. she was in fact wearing a short dress, but didnt seem to care about what skin was showing. platinum locks outlined cadees face again as she looked down into the water. sure, salem probably thought her a fool, yet she didnt seem to mind about that either. it had been a long while since she had ventured off a street corner or alley, and went down to the water. the almost, endless abyss.
