[o]He watched her as she walked down to the waters edge. He could only guess at how many things she had either never done, or hadn't been able to do for a very long time. It saddened him to know that he had so much going for him, so much access to everything and had still ended up in the shits. Especially when he knew there were people suffering so much more then he had ever dreamed of. Perhaps in helping Cadee he could somehow redeem himself of all his shitty behaviour, put himself back on the road to a real life again and win back his parent's approval. He sighed softly taking a seat on the sand and allowing his fingers to trail through it, eyes to watching Cadee softly.[o]
