Subject: Haven't you heard that I'm gonna be okay?

She'd been pretty much on her own for the last little while. She lacked the ambition, and perhaps the skill these days to make new friends, and so stuck to the waves, and Spike, her trusty mixed breed pup, who was quickly reaching the adolescent stage of puppyhood. She'd just come off of the water, and was towelling herself off, Spike watching with mild interest, waiting for her to throw her frisbee.

He was busy loading a number of new boards into his truck, his blonde hair sunbleached and untidy. He leant back against the truck and tilted his head as he glanced around. The business was doing fairly well, and Arista was growing up quickly. He glanced at his watch, he still had a couple of hours before he was due to pick her up from Rhea. Well, noone had ever said she'd had good aim, in fact, it was terrible, but Spike could usually cover it up for her by catching it before it hit anything. She redened a bit and made her way up the beach, where Spike sat eagerly at the man's feet, waiting for him to throw the frisbee again. He laughs a little and tosses the frisbee again, throwing it further this time "Close... I own the shack... make the boards myself...."
