Subject: I'm looking to the sky to save me

He wasn't too sure why he had bothered to come back. After the funeral, he had gone to Acapulco with his brother for two weeks just to get away from everything familiar but now he was here again and facing everything head-on. The time in the sun, just taking it easy, had been good to him, and although nothing could ever completely take her away from - he was on the road to recovery. There was one person, too, who he had thought of enough to make coming home a slightly more pleasant experience, but he hadn't been able to get ahold of her yet...

she was perched on a rock, hugging her knees to her chest. She'd been on her way to the hospital, but she found herself turning towards the beach instead. Going to the hospital just hadn't been bearable any more now that she was making the trip on her own. Chaz was still fighting, but there were still no guarantees. His breath caught softly in his throat at the sight of her - he hadn't expected just to stumble upon her one day. Hesitating only briefly, he shoved his hands into the pockets of his faded jeans - only a 'beater tight to his torso, hair in it's usual state of disarray, and sandals on his feet - and headed towards her.
