I will be grateful for each day to come

He hated this place, and had all but forbidden Bryani to come down here alone, but his rules never applied to himself - he stayed away from the water anyway. Sitting on a bench, high on the beach, he rested his elbows on his knees and his chin in one hand, pale green gaze quiet on the waves. He was dealing so much better with things lately, but some days he just stopped and took a little bit of time for himself to think, and now was one of those times...

She worried about him on days like this, and now the slightly punkish looking young girl was making her way down the beach, scanning the area for him. Her dark hair was around her jaw as she made her way to the waves, kicking lightly at the water. (NT) -- Leila, 00:32:01 07/26/03 Sat

He still found it hard to believe how innocent their relationship had remained for this long and it was hardly because he wasn't attracted to her, and more just because things had been so good without that next step.
