To be frank, and brutally honest, being afraid of the dark is not manly -- despite what our fun Li darlin seems to think. Anyways, Tex already knew he was masculine 'cause well, he played football AND he could pick her up!! Dun dun dun.. She smiles up at him before her eyes widen at his ignorance to his 'friends'.. "You've got to be kidding me, their stares nearly knocked me over when they first saw me.." Head shakes as she sighs exasperatedly, as if she'd just gone through the ordeal all over again. She unconcsiously smiles at his touch, though she couldn't quite put a finger on just why that felt so darned good. Maybe it was the fact that he was her sworn protector now -- maybe it was just.. nevermind. She flashes him another smile, to make up for that small, kind of dreamy smile that girls get. She chuckles slightly at his request, "Don't worry, I have plenty of flashlights.. and batteries too." She studies him briefly, shrugging slightly, "It just makes you uncomfortable." She moistens her lips as she looks to him, still disbelieving 'bout his former statement, "You just don't know what a bonafide hottie you are.. tisk tisk.. I'm going to spend the night making sure you know what a good lookin stud you are.." Laughs at this, those amber eyes laughing as they studied his features.
