Liam kind of let his eyes lower at her claim. A bashful smile grabbed his lips as he watched his sneakers and the oh-so-interesting adidas stripes that adorned them. He felt the warmth in his cheeks before he realized that he was probably blushing like there was never gonna be a tomorrow. Shyly, he shot the comment down, "Yeah... sure Texxa, whatever." Had they really been staring at him? He hadn't noticed... Hadn't ever thought anyone would look at him, in y'know that way... I mean, him! But wait, no, Tex must be just doin' the whole 'make-Liam-feel-big' gig. And no, Liam was too smart for to fall for that sort of thing, but even still -- he appreciated his new found friend's attempt. Even though, he'd never be able to directly tell her that. Even if Liam had noticed her 'dreamy little girl' smile, he wouldn't have recognized it... Because, well... He wasn't used to bein' 'round girls that often. Most of them, made him nervous. Tex, was different. That's what he figured at least; Tex was different and that's what made her so easy to get along with... Even still, that's not saying that Liam didn't feel pretty damn shy 'round her alot of the time. I mean, she was girl, and an attractive one at that. An attractive girl that wanted to be his friend, and was telling him that he was potentially good-looking; it was enought to make his stomach flop this way and that -- almost like a fish. Shaking the awkward thoughts, confusion, and overall thinking session from his head, he glanced back up at Tex, his blush still glowing as bright as Rudolph's nose on a stormy winter's night. With an awkward grin and something like rememberance crossing those deep eyes of his, he murmured, "Yeah... Uncomfortable, that's it... But I suppose with flashlights, batteries and you, I'll live." ...And I bet you're wondering just what our little boy Liam remembered? Well, I'll let him tell you... Smacking a palm to his forehead, his eyes squinted as he remembered the football game. Yeah... the football game. "I... I have a game that night!" He blurted, looking disappointed to say the least. Games were fun, but so damn ordinary; camping with Tex would have been a new thing that just wasn't so damn routine. "I... Um... You can come if you want. I mean, do you want to come?" Liam paused, collecting himself and a bit of humor before continuing on, "There'll be lots of 'good-looking' and sweaty studs there, for you to drool over..."
