[So sorry if these posties are sort of messed, I'm in stress up to my elbows right now... Prep for Art Show is on, and I have like 50 other projects! O_o Ugh.]

.Like some sort of muscle-bound scarecrow, Liam refrained from moving as Tex's mouth neared his. To say the least, he was scared-to-death that she may, y'know... actually kiss him! He didn't know why he was afraid... He just sort of -- was. But then again, it was Liam's problem for not doing something to stop her from kissing him. And truth be told, our little football jock had no clue why he couldn't bring himself to do so. I mean, it's not like he was silently -- in his head -- begging her to kiss him, but he also wasn't begging her not to. As her lips softly melted down upon his own, he sort of was just stunned into paralysis, and silence. He didn't really know what he wanted to do as the tell-tale banana split flavour swarmed his lips. He didn't even have enough time to decide if he wanted to kiss her back, or pull away... or... or... My God, this boy's throughts were a whirlwind of craziness as he strained to keep from allowing his hands instinctively to catch at her hair.
'Oh my God.. Tex is kissing me...'
'What do I do? What do I do?'
'I'm so bad at kissing... This is not good.'
'She's... Wha? KISSING. ME. She's kissing Liam Burbank, not David Likner... Why is this?'
'It's my fault... I must have done something... I must have imagined her going into kiss me, but it must have really been me who did it. I'm so stupid! Look what I've done... Stupid, Stupid Liam Burbank.'
'This is why you want to be invisible, remember?'
S'far as Liam believed, he must have been the one who inciated this kiss-type-situation. But, he didn't know how he had done it... Because, it just wasn't humanely possible that Tex had done it out of her sheer willpower, because... well... just because. The girl was a kitten -- not a tiger, and for him to have done this to her -- his friend... God, he really believed he was a jerk! How the HELL had this happened? Suddenly, he pulled 'way from her and the kiss. His eyes flicked open, deep hazel irises and a centered black pupil narrowed in on Tex for a moment. Shame, guilt, apology, and just about everything else that related to those subjects flowed into the contact 'tween their eyes...
'I really am a son of a bitch... How could I have done this? So much for having a real friend, y'know... -- one that actually made sense.'
Shuffling backwards a little and glancing down awkwardly at his sneakers, he moistened his lips and whispered,
"God, I'm sorry... I didn't mean to -- well, you know..."
Shaking his head disbelievingly, he rubbed a broad hand 'cross his furrowed brow.
"Please, I'm just... Sorry Tex. I don't know why I did that, I don't know what happened... Can we... Could we... Could we forget that ever happened, please?"
