Tex was something of what you would call.. umm.. a sort of emotional kid -- and right now, at his words her jaw sort of goes slack and her eyes lower in shame. She was angry that she'd gone too far and that she'd made him feel bad, mainly 'cause he was kind of one of a kind for her too -- the only real person she'd ever told her name. She moistens her lips a bit, finally letting her eyes move to focus upon those red features of his, "I'm sorry.. And I would literally die if you weren't there tonight -- and if you want me to get all mushy I could go one to say that I died of drowning in my tears.." She tilts her head trying to find his eyes, her tone a little quiet, "I only thought you'd have other plans 'cause you're this great guy.. Never figured I'd even get a chance to meet one of 'em.. So, thanks for the experience anyway." She moistens her lips before drumming her fingers on the surface, "When does the game start?"
