Hello all,
I am researching my family who came from Barrow Upon Soar and lived in Mounsorrel South End for many years - John and Mary Sheppard / Shepherd. John died in 1898 and is listed in the parish burial records for Christs Church. I have checked the Womens Institute transcriptions of headstones in both that graveyard and St Peters but to no avail. Does anyone know if he might be buried elsewhere, or must I assume the headstones are now illegible?
Thanks,
Frazer
