Subject: Welcome Back old boy - (you're over 50)

I was talking to a buddy who lives in Kemah... he gotsa-lotsa blamage, but his family's all safe and he's vertical,so he's grateful. Roof damage so severe he had water running through the light fixtures on his ceiling before some of it fell in. He's lucky, because he had no flooding, his house was above the surge, but his 2 horses got out and they found them a couple of days later about a mile down the road. alive. WOW.
He made mention of some rumors about, not every one that did not evacuate Bolivar, have not been accounted for. Have you heard anything about that? He believes the body counts are skewed. But I have to ask why. I know the press was reporting a much higher number to have stayed, before the storm, versus the number reported to have been rescued or recovered after the storm. Or did the press just have the numbers wrong about the non-evacuees? you know how sensational the press likes to be...
Glad yer back up and running...d---
