Let me tell yall about Doc. I was asked why I would drive 3 hours from Longview Tx to get a 400 freshened up... Ill tell ya. I arrived at around 1pm ... he tore it down, found my high dollar planteraies were gone... but instead of saying... fork over $2Gs for new ones...he says... I can fix em. He machined the cage apart, installed new custom parts, and welded back up and turned em dowm.. the put the tranny back together! I left at 9pm that evening with a tranny that shifts like a banshee! Thanks doc!

The next day I was headed to Houston. He ripped it down to find numerous problems. He corrected the screwups and I was headed back to Corpus. The next day we put it in and presto, it works like a champ. Doc and his son Jay are laid back guys that I will always call my friends. They took the time to explain how it all works as well as what to do to make it last. That is why all my transmission work will be headed to Houston from now on.
