Subject: Sold Out!!!!!!

Last week I had a man come by the shop with big interest to buy my Vette and Jay's Casper car. He approached me with a package deal to buy both of them with the 4 spare motors. I thought about it this past weekend and decided that we might as well go ahead with the deal. (after all, we don't race much anymore)

This morning I recieved a call from the guy again and told him that I would close the deal. He came over a few minutes ago and paid cash. Man I like that! It sure was hard to see my baby go but I look at it like this: I waited on Big D for 2 years to be ready!!! I waited on many others to be ready!!! They all had the talking part but no action!!! Finally, my old tires were starting to dry rot. These cars needed to be raced!!! Now they will.

Jay really didn't have any signs of sadness. He likes the $100 bills better I guess!!! LOL Anyways, Our racing enterprise is over!!! We will be listing all the Lenco's, Bruno's, 9" gearsets, NOS bottles, NOS systems, Blowers, Prochargers, sheetmetal intakes, converters, planetaries, roller camshafts, lifters, rods and cranks, Bowtie and Dart blocks for sale soon. Trailers will be sold also! Not to mention the numerous parts inventory we have accumilated obver the past 35 years!! It's all going to be sold. I also will be selling my 65 vette with the 502/502!!! We will keep you posted when the sale begins.
Drag racing has been really good to us and we are going to miss it...but life goes on!!!!!!
