In reply to: Concerned Racer 's message, "Driver error is understandable but look at some video's from HMP and you will see that there is ALOT of track issues causing these wrecks. Shawn Davis did have a motor/car issue that caused his damage but there have been many cars that just turn and hit the wall on the big end." on Monday, April 14, 08:22:33am

[> [> [> [> Believe me, It's not me working on the track. LOL I was happy to give it up and watch them go their own way. LOL It really is sad that a track of that caliber has such a sorry track prep crew. If you look at all the pics, it seems like the staff all sits in the middle and watches the races instead of monitoring the track surface. And no, you can't add more VHT thinking it will come around. LOL It is an art and I appreciate the people that have asked me about it but No, I cannot reveal what it would take to fix it. The list would be too long. Have to step on some toes and I just don't have the time these days. NHRA has the answer but they don't have a clue on who to talk to I guess. I wish them luck in their endeavors. -- Doc (semi-retired), Monday, April 14, 10:41:56pm [1]
