Subject: Sorry for the delay but here goes...Put a jumper wire on the battery (+) and hook it to the distributor, If it starts, then the problem is somewhere between the switch and the distributor. Something that you may want to check is whether it is giving power to the dist. as you turn it over. Some solenoids have 2 small wire hookups (R and S). If the (R) is not wired, most likely you are not giving 12 V to the distributor when turning it over. The (S) wire has to be hooked up to engage the starter soleniod. Check it, and give me a call if you still can't get it. It's not that big of a deal to fix but I know it can drive you nuts.
