The young girl had watched through quizzical eyes as the mother moved through the door carrying a bundle that looked small enough to be near her age. Ivy moved unnoticed into another room, a small basket of cleaning supplies in her hand, and began the process of dusting. After a short lapse of time she returned to the hall the woman had stood in shortly before. Observing that she was gone the child moves to the door that had been shut earlier and a tiny hand is reached up to knock lightly on the door before she pushes the wooden structure ajar. Peering around the edge she sees a lump under the covers and proceeds to enter the room. Quietly she begins to clean, extracting a rag from the basket that she sets down by the door.
