His silver optics took notice of anything that moved, no matter if it was friend or foe; in times of war, one could never be too cautious. The stallion he rode maneuvered in and out of the area with ease despite his great size, although Kieran was merely scouting. The catapults and ballistas were firing endlessly at the castle, so the army had yet to be released for the attack. Then he saw a man, knowing that it was not France’s own, and immediately sending his horse to face the unknown warrior. Kieran gave a small sneer…was this man foolish enough to walk into the battle grounds alone? Or was this a trap?
