The satyr allowed himself a moment, letting the glamour flow through him as he reached out with his senses to feel the storm, letting it's energies wash over him, even as it's rain did the same.

This was no good Omen.

"She is indeed something, young one; there is beauty in such things, but there is pain as well. Which does the day hold for you?"

Edo could not contain the smirk as he watched Kurax's eyebrows crawl into his hairline. "You threaten'n me, old timer?"

Chuckling, the bushi let one part of the hood slide back, exposing one eye the twinkled with amusement. "Do we not have an employer of yours to see, my young friend?"

Perhaps it was the thrill of the adventure, or the fact that he was working towards something, that kept silent the myriad voices within his mind saying that this was a mistake, and that he should not risk himself for some stranger who had wandered his lands. And yet, he told himself, was this not the selfsame lesson he had taught others within his lands?

Kurax's grumbling brought his mind to the present as he gestured to their path, grumbling under his breath about stodgy old codgers....
