Vondil stared at Innis until he caught himself, and shook a bit. His back straightened as he realized anything of such strange appearance would have to be very important to be allowed near Caer Avallach. He barked orders to some of the other knights, but it came out sounding childish.

Not soon enough Innis was ushered into a highly polished carriage, it's wood edges finely carved and brushed with gold. Vondil made the decision to escort the carriage himself, both to be sure no harm came to the Baron's special visitor but also to make sure nothign similar came to the Baron himself.

The carriage was on it's way through the thick forest in a matter of minutes, rocking through puddles as the rain continued even heavier into the night. The sort of chimera that accompanied darkness peered from the grassed edges of the road, grown unruly and high to the waist by this, late summer. A few sprites trailed after the trailer like tiny gaslights, creating a procession worthy of the Barony's strange guest.
