Subject: Now, I have a question.....

My family is having a family reunion this August. While I do have a lot of family in Pittsburgh, there is a large amount of cousins, aunts and uncles who live out of state.

The reunion will be at my house, since I live in the family homestead. To try to get all of the information about the reunion out there, we would like to have a web site, but I don't have a clue about doing it! I checked with my internet supplier and the tech support person told me that even though he works for this company, he would not use the web hosting program for himself.

I do have a Facebook group for our family, but not everyone is on Facebook!

So, does anyone have any idea of how we can go about it?
I really would appreciate any help.

[> I don't have one myself, and I don't know how it works .... but a lot of people I know from the Weight Watcher's message boards use "freewebs" to se tup web pages. Some are very elaborate and some are bare-bones. I think it truly is free. It's at freewebs.com -- MichelleB, 20:43:23 03/22/09 Sun [1]

[> ideas for how to get the info out -- JBird, 11:58:55 04/20/09 Mon [1]

Our reunion is also in August and I was looking for ways to invite some additional family members... I created a blog with a brief family history and included some ancestors names. I also included a post with the reunion date and set up and email for questions, the address, etc. so I wasn't posting their home address on the internet. I also created an event on Facebook with the information, and I'm going to post a message on my ancestory.com account.
Hope those ideas help! Good luck!
