Subject: I have the newest generation Kindle and love it. The deciding factor for me was the cost of a book and to me Amazon has the best prices. Also I have found apps for the PC that let me take fanfic and make into e-reader format so can read fanfic on it. You can share between other Kindle owners. Depends on what want color or basically black and white screen, how many books can it hold, cost, how much do books cost. You might visit some stores and see them in action. Kindle is now sold at Target and Best Buy.
