Subject: Since I'm asking (probably very basic) questions? Here's one more - Is there a way to clear all the names and info you get before an email's context starts before either printing the info or forwarding it?
In reply to: judi 's message, "ED, a BCC is just a choice when you reply to an email. When you send it to a bunch of people, they can't see each others email addys. What kind of email do you have? If you have Yahoo, you can choose add BCC If you have Outlook, it should be listed under CC." on 11:22:26 02/01/07 Thu

Usually, you have two options: CC and BCC. CC is a copy that all your recipients can see. BCC, none of the recipients sees anyone else's name.

When you reply, you have the option to reply to the sender, or reply to "All". If the email hasn't come to you as a blind copy, and you press Reply to All, the email will go to ALL the recipients, and everyone will see all the name.

I have Yahoo and Outlook. With OL at least, you can have as many recipients as you want, and put them all in BCC.

Printing:

Before you print, click on Reply (even if you are not replying.) When you are in Reply, you can delete anything you want, including all the name, addresses, and any or all of the content. Don't worry, it won't change the original email. It will just clear any info on the reply (or print) as you want.
