Subject: You can uninstall it. Should be able to go into Add/Remove Programs and remove it. Still trying to get used to it myself.
In reply to: JJ (Ronda) 's message, "Oo, I know. I wish there was a way to go back to an earlier version of Internet Explorer. I hardly ever use IE, but occassionally I come across websites that only work in IE. But I absolutely HATE IE 7.0. Nothing looks the way it should, I can't find anything, and I can't manuever around in it the way I would prefer. Now I only use it as a last resort." on 03:24:39 02/14/07 Wed

[> [> [> [> Sure I can uninstall it, but then how do I install the old version? The new version is part of Windows updates, so I can't avoid getting upgraded without turning off Windows updates, which I don't want to do. I just avoid using it altogether. -- JJ (Ronda), 05:00:44 02/14/07 Wed [1]

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> There are a couple websites that have old versions on them. OldVersions.com and OldApps.com I have done this before. BTW, Microsoft doesn't want you to go back. When it comes out with a new program, the older one is usually no longer for sale or available. And exception is VB6 since it's so different from VB.net. -- judi, 10:05:03 02/14/07 Wed [1]
