Subject: Ummm...Is this "ghost" real?

Because we seem to be discussing the ghost of King Hamlet so much, I'm going to pose a question that might seem a little ridiculous. Is the ghost real? I know that in order for the plot to continue, the reader simply has to assume that the ghost is real, in some form, but has anyone else wondered about that? I read Hamlet in high school and I have always kind of wondered if it was real or not. You guys may be able to prove it's existence pretty easily, and that's fine, I was just curious.
