Yes, stop your GIRO ASAP. If they ask you why you haven't been paying, say you are unhappy with the way they are running their business and say you wish to terminate. Then write them a formal letter declaring your intention. You can get a lawyer to do it for you, but fees range from $500. Most importantly, don't let ERI intimidate you into further payment to upgrade plan or anything in order for them to sell off membership for you.
