] Date Posted: Wed, Oct 15 2003, 20:10:46 I was conned this year april, but I have reported my situation to CASE, but yet pending for the reply from ERI. Well the story of all the victim are the same, high pressure sales method, they made me stay till midnight and asked me to sign contract under a dim room where you can hardly read the contract and they skipped all the important rules...And they charged my credit card in Aust dollar without letting me know and then they said they will refund my the additional payment but yet I have not seen the refund of the outstanding payment. At this moment, I did not pay the instalment at all. I don't know what is the consequences but I really hate them and very mad about the way they do business. Can anyone of you teach me what to do to get myself out of this once it for all? Ignoring them is only temporary as I do not know what will happen next after realising the agreement that I signed is totally against myself. I am glad that I found this website, and knowing that I am not alone in Singapore. In fact, I have made a few friend at CASE and we know each because we were reporting the same thing, ERI. And they pressured me to pay $2000 deposit. Plus I have to pay $400 over maintainence fee monthly. I sent letters but no reply. I went personally to the company to get back my refund realising that I have been conned and tricked. They merely sent some customer service officer to "pacify" me when I seek for the persons who made me signed and seek for refund. The way they do business is unethnic and horrible. Date Posted: Mon, Nov 10 2003, 2:25:11 Hi ALL ERI victims, it seems the tactic is different now big fish gone eat small fishes but overall still trying very hard to con the public and alot of innocent parties. can we like all get together and make a gathered cancellation? or sue them together like the rest of the threads and it also helps to gather all the same people in the same boat CASE is really not much of a help, help is really those in the same shoe and can really understand our problems. i have thought if i cannot even get my share back at least i want to make it an effort if there is a chance to let more people know about this ERI company and at least contribute by letting people know how bad they are even when they isist on not being a timeshare company when even right in front of my face i ask them if they were a time share company. to think they have the cheek to get us to pose and show us photos of satisfied customers and even celebraties that are under their resorts member. For those of you who are not comfortable in giving your contacts in this public forum, please forward them to hcspore03@yahoo.com.sg stating your 'name' and 'contact no.' and which Timeshare Company you have fallen victim onto.
