] Date Posted: Mon, Mar 01 2004, 17:15:35 To all ERI victims, I know many have gone to CASE for help. But I also felt that info and help are too diverse. And I felt that the power of just me alone is nothing. But... Do you guys/gals think that we can maybe engage a lawyer and seek redress for all of us? I'm sure everyone had different expierence with different sales staffs they had. But all of us faces the same problem. We were deceive in one way or another into buying something which, I hate to say, but.., SUCKS. If we can all gather our resources and engage a gd laywer, I think our chances should be better than sitting here doing nothing now. what do u think?? Anyone can help or any way to solve this ? We really want to redress this but don know how ? Our payment will be full on next year if i not wrong, till there we need start to pay the yearly maintenance fee. Now, they are just harassing me to pay either pay the maintainence fee which they threatened will go up anytime or pay another 5.2 k more with no more maintenance fees but need to pay US50 service fees every two years once u start using their services again. They are well versed in contract law and revised their membership agreement over time under pressure from the public. In order to resolve the membership issue, we need to find more information about the company management including the developer. For example, in the agreement, it stated "Club Emperor is owned, managed and operated by Emperor Holdings Pte Ltd." But in their website, ERI published as "CLUB EMPEROR was set up under the banner of Emperor Holdings International to develop" There is confusion on why there is a difference. Maybe some laywers out there could advise. As far as I know in finance transaction, it should be the same company name.
