Many people can sit and argue about this topic for the longest but, I truly think no one can have the same anotinting nor power as Jesus.In Mark 16 the women were worried about how they could anoint Jesus' body with that great stone sealing the door. But when they arrived they found the stone had already been rolled away. However, Jesus has a knowing anointing, man has to sometimes questin himself. I must say I agree with Dr. Steib on this, God is a wonder and there is n one on the face of this earthh that can take his place in my heart.But, hope all of you that disargee do some more studying and find the correct answer. May God Bless all of you!!!!!!

(LADY EXPOSER) No you are WRONG! Jesus said in Mark 14 that we can do greater works! Look at the book of Acts. The anointing came from Peter's shadow and Paul's hankercheifs! Jesus didnot do that! We can have that kind of anointing because all power comes from GOD! You are a liar preparing the church to welcome the Anti-Christ and think he's Christ because accroding to you "Noone can have the same anointing as Christ". What would the two women do after Jesus' died and resurrected? Their anointing was for souls NOT Jesus! You need the blessing of wisdom.

Sorry, but Mark 16 was fulfilled in the Apostles in order to lay the foundation of the Church. But we have the sure Word of God, as Peter says in 2 Peter 1:19-21.
However, in the "times of the end" there will be deceivers with all the workings and power of Satan who will deceive with lying signs and wonders-2 Thessalonians 2:1-12
If you have that "annointing" why aren't you healing the blind, raising the dead, etc or drinking poison and handling snakes?

You are so stupid! In the book of Mark Jesus DIDNOT say that his anointing is limited to only the apostles! It is given to EVERYBODY! Plus, how do YOU know who is healing WHO? You don't know that! Just as the book of Matthew says in the :AST days people wil come to Jesus telling him "Lord in your name we casted out demons, healed the sick, etc." and Jesus will tell them "depart from me you wicked one, I never knew you!" If people who are far from God can have the power of healing then so can God's people through Jesus! You are one of those kinds of churches that don't believe in the miracle working power of Christ in these modern times and will the the first one to fall for the false miracles of the great deciever (the anti Christ). 1 Cor 12, 2 Thess 2: 3-17. Bridget Steib is WRONG and so are YOU! The both of you are FALSE teachers!

JOHN 14:12------We can do greater miracles than Jesus because all the power comes from God. How could this happen if we were not given the anointing of Jesus. That doesn't make any sense at all! Then you posted claiming that people are not raising the dead, healing the blind, etc. It happens all the time all over the world. God gives people his gift of healing at His own time and no body elses! You are in an environment where you donot believe in the existance of the supernatural working power of Jesus working in believers that's why you have never witnessed it!!

Why does the book of Mark says different? Why does it say we can have greater power than Jesus with the exception of resurrecting for mankind because all power comes from God? Mark 16 and Corinthians 12 says that God gives people the gifts of the Holy Spirit to heal and do other miracles. How can only the power of evil have it and not the power of God working for God? You're trying to do everything to can do deny the miracles coming from Heaven above while exalting the devil!

Depending on what you mean. If you mean the anointing. There is no "spiritual authority" in being blessed to heal the sick, have wisdom, etc. But if you mean, husbands having
spiritual authority over the wives because God gave them leadership un the home, then you are correct.

Actally Dr. Steib is correct. No one can have the same anointing as Jesus. Jesus was both human and divine and he came down born of a virgin to die for our sins. We received our anointing by way of his death and ressurection. WE DO NOT have the same anointing that Jesus did, we have an anointing thru him.

Peter walked on water, he and John both were on the mountain talking to Elijah and Moses (Matthew 17, Luke 9). And Jesus blessed the disciples with the same miracle working power He has when he sent them to witness the Gospel (Matthew 10) and said in His name we can perform miracles (Mark 16). People who says we can't be as anointed as Christ are trying to set the church up be fooled by the Anti-Christ's false powers!

All males are sons of God, and all females are daughters of God. Note that Jesus is reported as having said (Matt 5:9) that all peacemakers are sons of God, and see also John 1:12-13. It says nothing about children of God being anointed.

If we cannot or do not have access by faith to the same anointing Jesus has what do we do with the scripture in I John that says "he that says he abides in Him ought Himself also to walk even as He walked." If our only calling in the earth is to walk merely as forgiven natural men(sinners saved by grace)we will still fall short of the Glory of God. But if we "walk by faith and not by sight" i.e. walking in HIS presence at all times then what Jesus said in John 14th chapter becomes operative for us. "He that believes on me the works that I do shall he do also...because I go unto the Father." It is Spiritually impossible to do the Works of Jesus without His anointing. "NOW we are the Body of Christ and members in particular"

"Lady Exposer" How can you be defending God and lowering his children which are your sisters and brothers in Christ at the same time. Dr.Bridget Steib's opinion is logical. Although no one really knows what anointing God may put upon another. We all receive our anointing through Jesus. With that God also says "Study show yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth"(2 Timothy 2:15).Please, please study your bible. God also said "Do not touch my anointed ones, and do my prophets no harm"(I Chronicles 16:8).
