This was a great race. Obviously no one had anything for Scruggs in the small block 63 vette,setting new track record in qualifying and running 3 back to back 4.08s in elims. The finals came down to him and the stroudracing 53 studebaker. Obviously the airgap on clutch was a little to tight and the stude rolled thru the lights.

Yes it was next race is in Holt Florida this Satuday there has been numerous 3.99's and 3.98's run here
