Subject: How fun. I always love Homecoming week. We don't have ours until the end of the month. Don't hurry with a gift. I am sure it will be great once I get it. Ttys

They were getting ready to start the 3 quarter when the announcer came over and said that the game was being delayed for 25 minutes due to a lightning strike within a 3 mile radius. They came back over the P.A. system 5 minutes later and said the game was called. It wasn't a district game so it didn't really matter anyways. The only big problem was that the team we were playing was 4-0 and we dropped them to 4-1. It was pretty bad to have to evacuate so fast. By the time we could get all of the kids in the car it was pouring. I've never seen the H.S. football stadium empty so quickly. Plus cancelling the game was a suprise since our school isn't known for cancelling. Sorry your gift is going to be late. I was hoping to bring you your gift at the pageant but after the night we had at the football game we all slept in too late. We should get it out sometime this week." on 20:12:17 10/05/04 Tue
