Esther Walton: she knew what she believed, and she stuck to it. period!

Zeb Walton: that twinkle in his eye,and his 'vulpine' qualities.

John Walton: His determination to do whatever it took to keep food on the table and provide for his family in good times and bad.

Olivia Walton: she always knew the right answer-whether it was hers or someone else's.

John-boy: his insight and curiosity.

Mary Ellen: her perseverance and determination. She probably got that from John.

Jason: musical ability and a soft heart

Ben: always looking ahead

Erin: the child in the middle, she reached out and connected to everyone, whether young or old.

Elizabeth: she had a good sense of what was important, and great delivery of seriously funny lines.

Jim-Bob: his head was in the clouds--or under the hood of a car!

Ike Godsey: knew everybody

Cora Beth Godsey: knew everything, along with Fannie Tatum, and Mrs. Brimmer. they were the movers and shakers in Walton's Mountain.

the Baldwin Sisters: cream of the crop, but delightfuly human. Always looking to benefit others.
