With you spouse though..... hmmmm I guess I can understand, especially if it was part of the era. It seems so out of place on Walton's mountain though - especially when Grandma was called Zeb 'Ole Fool' all the time and he was calling her 'Old Woman' as their terms of endearment. I guess it just makes Cora-Beth seem impersonal, not as warm in her marriage and partnership.
