I don't specifically recall playing farm, but I remember taking tree limbs that were small enough to break and low enough to reach and put them down to outline our "house". We would use giant oak leaves and other big leaves for the floor. If someone forgot to knock on the "door" before coming in, or walked over the sticks, (walking through the wall for crying out loud,) they couldn't play.
