DEW DROP INN IN THE NEWS
It is rare for someone from my area in Virginia to receive national attention but that will be happening this coming Saturday night. A musical group called The Honey Dew Drops which takes their name from the original Dew Drop Inn in Scottsville will be appearing on the National Public Radio show Prarie Home Companion. The leader of the group is a modern day Walton named Laura Wortman who is from Scottville, a town frequently mentioned on The Waltons.
