Please!! Has anyone ordered from dancebling before??? -- We ordered and haven't received our tutu.., 04:21:19 11/21/09 Sat
or even a call back or email. No response. I ordered in the end of Sep and prepaid. When I sent an email, I did get a response in early Oct that my tutu wasn't done and would be for the O. Now it is days away. I have called and emailed...no response. Did they go out of business. Please help if you have any info about this company.

Yes, I am yelling. The flu has hit the region and it is hitting hard and fast. Even our TC is encouraging kids to stay out of dance class even with a cold.

Really I feel for you if your child gets sick and you will lose money staying home. However, what is more important? The health of your daughter or going, her/him trying to dance and not being able, infecting others or losing a few hundred $$?

My daughter just has it a few weeks ago as did some of her friends, and as someone else pointed out it seemed just like a cold, some congestion and then the next day a fever and then a high fever, exhaustion, and body aches. DD was tested and was positive.

You need to understand that what you may think it just a cold is the time you are infecting others. So please leave sick siblings home with Dad or grandma and expose them and not us. And if your dancer is sick today chances are they are not dancing at the O next week, and if you go - go only if they are fever free for more then 24 hours off medication. That means no meds and no fever for 24 hours before mingling with us common folk.

And if you want any chance of going and your dancer just came on with symtoms and you are reading this, go to the DR TODAY, there is a rapid flu test, pay the money get it done and if positive ask for tamiflu. If they start the tamiflu in the first 48 hours it will help. It may mean the difference between no chance and a slim chance of dancing at the O.

And if your dancer is recovering and say they can't dance don't make them feel guilty or that they need to suck it up, Hug them and tell them you love them.

I hope anyone sick today has a chance to go and if you get sick after today please stay home.

- By us the doctor's office was full on the sick side, every room filled, every seat taken in waiting, people in the hall, so bad they cancelled healthy visits. Took 2 1/2 hours from when we arrived. She said that she could barely get through one step in both hardshoe and softshoe! She is now worried that she is not going to be able to get through her dances at the O! I told her she just needs to rest even more! (something she is not happy about) so I was wondering what have fellow dancers done while recovering from the flu? Don't forget to order your tickets (through your teacher) for the party on Saturday night of the Oireachtas Weekend, to be held at 8pm after awards in the Providence Ballroom/Westin Hotel. The event is being held in honor of New England's own 2009 World Champions, Ashley Smith (Senior Ladies) and Scott Doherty (Senior Men's). The guests of honor will be performing along with the great band Celtic Cross and plenty of dance music! A cash bar will be available and finger foods will be served. Tickets are $10 and are on a limited, first come, first served basis.

- Being honest here (and my apologies that it may be a be harsh), unless dd is u10 or below, and if dd has not been top ten or top twenty for the past few years, cramming now is not going to get her there.
