I know Diana wants us to feel the way we do about John. She always leaves me aching for him. Wanting so badly for him to find someone to love who is worthy of him and his love. Wanting to be able to comfort him and assure him that love is coming and is worth the wait, but mostly VERY IMPATIENT on his behalf. I am certain that is a great part of what I find so compelling about John and his story. So, the author is doing her job, always leaving me wanting more, in a way only Diana seems to be able to do for me. I can't think of a single other author who makes me yearn for the next book like Diana does. -- LJG Discussion board
