Subject: Lord John's role in the Revolution

I thought some of you would be interested in Diana's comments posted today on Compuserve regarding Lord John's position as a Loyalist, and whether he could possibly be convinced to switch sides. I think she answered the question pretty definitively. The link to that part of the thread on Compuserve is below.

Notice how she pounced instantly (but politely) on the flaws in my original argument. That's the risk you take in posting over there. I think it's worth it, though, when it elicits a response like this.
